Hubbau is a talent company helping forward-leaning organizations secure future tech competence by onboarding newly graduated engineers through tailored programs that combine work, education and mentorship.

I was brought in to improve the clarity, structure and impact of their website. My role included auditing the existing UX, restructuring the information architecture, refining the messaging, and building a lightweight design system in Figma. I also supported the team with brand-aligned copywriting and conversion-focused UX recommendations. The result is a more accessible, audience-specific and purpose-driven website that supports Hubbau’s growth, credibility and talent acquisition goals.

Problem

The old website lacked structure and clarity. Customers struggled to find key information, and Hubbau’s professionalism was not reflected digitally. The challenge was to create a simple, intuitive website that communicates trust and expertise.

Research

To understand the gap, I combined a heuristic audit with competitor benchmarking and stakeholder interviews. Analytics revealed where users dropped off, while conversations with the team showed what proof points mattered most. The research confirmed that clarity, credibility, and simple contact flows were the highest priorities.

Site mapping & User fLow

A revised site map was created to reflect the needs of different user groups. This structure made it easier for visitors to find relevant information and gave Hubbau a reusable framework for future content. Mapping user flows exposed the friction in Hubbau’s conversion path.

Visual Identity

The visual identity was updated to ensure consistency across the website. Colors, typography, and imagery were refined to better reflect Hubbau’s craftsmanship and reliability. The refreshed guidelines were tied to the UX strategy, creating a seamless experience where design aesthetics support clarity, trust, and ease of use.

Impact

Complete with a new website, design system, career portal, and visual identity updates, the re-energized Hubbau website is where new graduate engineers, developers, creatives and, beyond go to pursue their dream careers.
